Prof. Vaidya Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General, CCRAS, served as the Nodal Officer for the program, representing the Ministry of Ayush. In his welcome address, he emphasized this years central theme, Yoga For Healthy Ageing, underscoring the vital role of Yoga in physical fitness, mental peace, and its deep alignment with India traditional healthcare knowledge systems. Dr Raj Bhushan Choudhary addressed the gathering and highlighted that Yoga is not merely physical exercise but a way of life that unifies body, mind, and soul. He appreciated the growing global acceptance of Yoga for healthy living and stress management, encouraged participants to adopt daily Yoga practice, and commended all stakeholders involved in organising the event. The inspiring address of the Honorable Prime Minister of India was also shared with all participants, emphasising the importance of Yoga in promoting global health and well being and encouraging people worldwide to integrate Yoga into their daily lives. Aligned with the Common Yoga Protocol, the session saw the enthusiastic participation of around 650 Yoga lovers, all recommitting to a healthier, balanced lifestyle.
