Memorandum of Understanding [MoU] was signed between the Central Institute of Classical Tamil [CICT] and the National Institute of Siddha [NIS] to exchange the knowledge resources . This partnership is considered significant in integrating the profound wisdom of Siddha medicine with the rich linguistic and literary heritage of Classical Tamil. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. G. Senthilvel, Director, NIS, and Prof. R. Chandrasekaran, Director, CICT, in the presence of Dr. R. Bhuvaneshwari, Registrar of CICT, faculty and officials of NIS Dr. B. R. Senthil Kumar, Dr. V. Suba, Dr. I. Sangeetha and Mr. Michael Antony Joseph, Consultant [MoU and International Cooperation].

He explained that fasting, when done scientifically, helps the body rest and heal, highlighting autophagy as a key process for cell repair. Benefits include improved immunity, digestion, and metabolism. He also stressed combining fasting with yoga and meditation, and advised practicing it under proper guidance. The event was held under the Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.

Prof. [Vaidya] Rabinarayan Acharya Director General CCRAS attended the 3rd International Ayush Conference and Exhibition IACE 2026 held in Dubai from 15 to 17 February 2026. The event was inaugurated by Shri Prataprao Jadhav Minister of State Independent Charge Ministry of Ayush who also addressed the valedictory session. During the conference Prof. Acharya chaired a panel discussion on Ensuring Safety Quality and Global Acceptance of Indian Botanicals under Plenary Session 6 on 16 February 2026. He also delivered a plenary address on Ayurveda Education and Research in Integrative Medicine The Way Forward during Plenary Session 9 on 17 February 2026 highlighting Indias vision to advance Ayurveda globally through quality education innovation and integrative research. The conference brought together participants from nearly 28 countries fostering international dialogue scientific exchange and partnerships in traditional and integrative healthcare systems.
